Rice is not controlled at the end.
It is managed at every stage.

Every step of the process aims to minimise the gap between what the rice is supposed to do and what it actually does when processed, cooked, or served.

For us at Riseria di Asigliano, our method is how a naturally variable raw material transforms into a reliable product. Every harvest, every variety, and every batch brings with it physical, mechanical, and qualitative differences: our job is to recognise, measure, and manage them. Selection, cleaning, hulling, whitening, polishing, optical sorting, X-rays, metal detection, laboratory controls, and traceability are not separate steps.

They form a single system, designed to reduce the discrepancy between the expected and actual behaviour of the grain.

This is where the promise becomes concrete: in our ability to regulate the process, control relevant parameters, reduce physical and thermal stress, and ensure integrity, cleanliness, yield, and consistency. This maintains the trust between us and you, whatever you demand from your rice.

Raw Material Selection

of raw material

Quality begins before processing.

Selection is the point where natural origin meets engineering precision. The variety, provenance, and physical parameters of each batch are mapped even before the plants are started. We consider raw material a variable to be managed through our method: every input is tied to an expected and measurable outcome, to guarantee stability that allows no exceptions.

2

Processing

Every step modifies the grain. This is why it must be managed.

Transforming paddy rice into a reliable resource requires active control, not a passive sequence. Our facilities operate as an integrated system of controlled variables, from the first mechanical pass to the finishing. We manage the mechanical impact on breakage, fats, and colour to achieve a single result: a grain that responds exactly as expected, both in line and on the plate.

3

Quality Control

The promise becomes verifiable.

We verify every grain through a process that allows no exceptions. The combined action of optical sorters and X-ray systems intercepts and isolates every single anomaly, particularly glass residues, before packaging. In our laboratory, we analyse line samples and certify their stability through continuous parameter monitoring and final release, guaranteeing the conformity of each batch.

Machinery

TECHNOLOGY
at the service of consistency.

Each processing stage corresponds to a specific engineering safeguard. We use Bühler systems for cleaning and optical sorting; Satake plants to manage hulling, whitening, and finishing without stressing the material; Mettler-Toledo lines for foreign body detection. Final verification involves calibrated scales, accredited laboratories, and certified internal protocols. This is not just a list of machinery and technologies: it is our technical control chain.

Certified quality,
not just declared.

We prefer facts over words. That’s why our standard is internationally certified to guarantee food safety, environmental protection, and specific market requirements.

These are not medals of honour. They are the expression of our method.
